One of the most memorable occasions in our school history took place last Thursday with the blessing of our Peace Garden following the beautiful house mass for St Francis. All those who came to share their memories were touched by the simplicity of the service, the beautiful singing and reverence of our students who clearly recognised the poignancy of the moment. Well done. Emotional intelligence is so important.
Thanks to so many people including Fr Naz, Mrs Enticknap, Mrs Walsh, Mr Eccles and all of Francis House – special thanks to the sixth form for the large turnout.
The music played by William Beck. Our student reflection by Laura Papp. Readings by Mr Caffrey and poem read by Mrs Enticknap all made the occasion very special. Mass readers Cliona Murphy, Mrs Davies, Ryan Smith, Laura Papp, Anthony Diaz and George Spencer were a credit to their house. Thanks also to our choir and visiting priest Fr John Delaney.
