The internet represents a tremendous educational resource.  There is, however, a darker side to the internet and we suggest parents review the following websites to help them support their children in using the internet and new technologies safely and responsibly.

Childnet International

is a non profit making organisation working with parents and young people about safe and positive use of the internet. There are resources and information for parents and carers, Secondary age students and Primary school children. It covers advice on safe use of social networking sites, cyberbullying, and accessing Music, Film and TV online.
