St Gregory the Great is an inclusive school. We welcome pupils of all abilities and we have high aspirations for them all.
The library is a multipurpose space and can cater for both free and formal learning periods. We offer a stimulating and engaging environment that is frequently used by teachers and classes in a variety of subjects.
As a school, we believe music has a unique contribution to make to the education of all children, not just those with the potential to become great professional musicians and composers. We know that the creativity at the heart of music-making motivates young people to succeed across the whole curriculum. Music promotes social and cultural values, uniting and building our diverse community.
The school health nurse is Sue Bolton, but she continues to be in St Gregory the Great school on Mondays.
The school nurse is now based within the Sixth Form centre. Students are still able to access the nurse for appointments, they just ask Mrs Shields on reception who is happy to let them in and show them the office.
The school nurse drop in will continue to be at Monday first break (11:10-11:35) in this office in sixth form, any student is able to drop in and speak confidentially to me about their health or wellbeing.
There is a rich programme of extra-curricular opportunities at St Gregory the Great, Oxford, including visits abroad, societies, clubs and a range of music and sports. The list of opportunities is reviewed annually according to demand. There are learning and sporting opportunities.
