Over 1400- guests, students and staff gathered together in the main Sports Hall
to celebrate this special school Feast Day Mass together. The lead celebrant was
Bishop William Kenney and the deanery priests and deacons from near and afar
assisted on the altar.
It was a great privilege and joy for all present to have so many priests and the
Bishop honouring the school in this way. This community prayer of The Holy Mass
was indeed the most fitting way to give thanks to God for all the blessings that this
school has received in the last 11 years since its foundation by the Archdiocese
of Birmingham. We also took the opportunity for our students to say farewell to Mr
Hussey who has been with us for a number of years and has done a lot to get our
school to where it is today. We wish him the best of luck for the future.
A huge thank you to all of our students who took part in the Feast Day Mass; Jade
Saunders (Head Girl), Lee Mitchell (Head Boy), George Spencer and Sharifa
Ali greeted all of our visitors; Matthew O’Donoghue, Matthew Roberts, Daniella
