Dear Parent / Carer,

Firstly can I say thank you to all of you who ensured that your child arrived in school wearing the correct uniform.

We were surprised however to see that some students arrived at school wearing trainers, plimsolls and canvas shoes rather than proper school shoes.

Students should wear black shoes to school, as specified in our uniform policy which we publicised before the summer holiday. Trainers, plimsolls or canvas shoes are not acceptable.

Please purchase proper school shoes as soon as possible and by Monday 11th September at the latest. This is part of the school rules and students not in the correct footwear are not abiding to the rules of the school in being ready, respectful and safe.

If you have experienced difficulties in obtaining Navy blue trousers or skirt to fit your child from our uniform suppliers then please send a letter in with your child to explain this.

If you have been able to find tailored Navy blue trousers from another supplier to fit your child please bring them into school this week to be approved by myself or another member of the Senior Leadership Team. These items once approved would need to be left in school in a bag clearly labelled with the name of the student.

Thank you,

Hannah Forder-Ball,
Assistant Principal
